Mr. Oliveras is a PHD candidate at the Graduate Center of CUNY. For the last decade, he has worked as an actor for leading companies in NYC. He’s been nominated by the ACE organization five times and in 1995 won the award as best actor for Círculo’s production of Cervantes’ Interludes. For Five years he worked in marketing and community development for INTAR, Ensemble International Theater and Workshop 90 Theater.


Beatriz Córdoba was born and raised in Argentina. She studied at the National University of Tucumán where she earned her B.A. in English Literature. She later got her MFA degree in Theater Directing from Ohio University. She has directed in many companies including REPERTORIO ESPAñOL(“El Eterno Femenino”, “El beso de la Mujer Araña”, “El Huésped” and “Casa Propia”); LATEA, El Portón del Barrio, Teatro IATI and Teatro CíRCULO. With her own production company, GRUPO DEL SUR, she has directed “La llamada de Lauren,” “Señoritas en Concierto”, and “Chau Misterix”, among others.


Luis is an acclaimed director & actor, a Philosophy graduate from the University of Puerto Rico, he obtained a MA in Theater & Education from NYU. His vast acting resume includes theater, film & TV credits. His extensive directing credits spans 16 years between his native Puerto Rico, New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Teatro Círculo credits: Puerto Rico Fua, Un quijote en Nueva York, Lorca Federico Lorca.


Mr. Baychuk has 22 years of experience as an international design director in the fashion industry, having led creative departments in England and the US for such well known design houses as Jones New York, Anne Klein and Christian Dior among others. Mr. Baychuck’s holds an AAS from Parsons School of Design, and an MFA in Design Central St. Martin’s Institute in London. Presently Mr. Baychu is VP of Design for Jones Apparel Group.


Born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. A recent MFA graduate in Set Design from Brooklyn College. His set design credits include Blue Surge, Sight Unseen, The Crucible and The Beauty Queen of Lenane. In film has worked as the art director for the feature civil war epic “ Legged Red Devils”. Recently he has been working as a freelance with Spaeth Design’s team in the realization of the famous Holiday Windows for Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Sak’s.


Recent NY credits: Carrots (Duke Theater), Yo Soy Latina (Crossroads) & The Feast of the Goat (Spanish Rep). PR credits: Five Kinds of Silence & Tropical Tree directed by Emineh de Lourdes. She is the resident LD & Managing Director of Teatro Círculo for whom she has designed over a dozen shows. She is the founder & Artistic Director of Boundless Theatre Company. She holds a BA in Theater from the UPR and an MFA in Lighting Design from NYU.


BA in Theatre from the University of Puerto Rico and an MA in Arts Administration from Turabo University of Puerto Rico.  Has performed on stage in over 40 plays.  Recent NY credits: Out in the Open (Fresh Fruit Festival at Barrow Group Theater), Oh De Sea! (The Internationalists), Love Dot Com (Dramatic Question Theatre), Seven Days-Seven Plays (Boundless Theater Company).  Associate Artist of Boundless Theater Company.  SM for Teatro Círculo, Cuarzo Blanco (PR), La Criatura Theatre (NY), La Micro Theater (NY), and APA of NYU.  Member of Screen Actors’ Guild (SAG) and the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA).


Mariana holds a BA from the School of Dramatic Arts of BA. In Argentina she performed in The Glass Menagerie & Terror and Misery of the Third Reich among others. In NY, she has worked with IATI, Círculo, and the Spanish Repertory Theatre among others. She is the Assistant Director of Jurakan Inc. She has won two ACE awards and one HOLA award of the play Soufle de Rosas.


This actor has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Marymount Manhattan College. José has performed in numerous venues in the US, Mexico, Ecuador, Dominican Republic and his native Puerto Rico. Most recent theater and TV credits include: Medea, Blood Wedding, Butterflies are Free, The Feast of the Goat, and 360 Studio Reality TV show. José is a two times ACE award nominee for Best Actor.


Studied theater at the national School of Alvaro de Rosson in Venezuela. Recent credits: El Primer Día de la Primavera, El Puerto de una Espera, Con Olor a Tempestad, with Producciones Latinoarmericanas. Doña Rosila la Soltera with Repertorio Español and Barco de Papel with IATI among others. She was awarded by Premios sin Límite, Best Dramatic Actress, playing Poncia in Lorca Federico Lorca produced for Teatro Círculo, and was nominated for an ACE award as best supporting female actor for La Celestina.


Ms. González holds a BFA from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU and MSE from CUNY. She has worked in theater, radio television, and films in Puerto Rico and in the US. Most recently she has been involved in the productions of independent short films in New York City. Her credits with Teatro Círculo are: Amores Jíbaros, Un Quijote en Nueva York, Los Titingós de Juan Bobo & El Arte de la Pintura


University of Puerto Rico Graduate & alumni of The Actors Center. Ballets de San Juan, Fosse, Radio City Christmas Spectacular, The New York City Opera and The Metropolitan Opera. As an actress, Silvia has earned numerous distinctions, including various HOLA and ACE Awards. As a singer, she has performed at venues such as Lincoln Center and Symphony Space. Her choreography can be seen in various works for The Immediate Theatre Company, Repertorio Español and the PRTT. She is also the Artistic Director of Grupo Artificio. Silvia was born and raised in Puerto Rico and holds a BFA in Theater from Syracuse University.

As a filmmaker has directed, written and produced “La Pulpería” and “Camino Real” based on two short stories by Juan Bosch.


Eva Cristina Vásquez is an Assistant Professor of Spanish at York College. She is a founding member of Teatro Círculo. Eva is the author of Amor Perdido, her first one-woman show. She also wrote: Pregones Theatre: A Theatre For Social Change In The South Bronx. Eva won the 2007 HOLA Award for Outstanding Solo Performance for Lágrimas Negras: Tribulaciones de una Negrita Acomplejá’.


He is one of the Founding members of Teatro Círculo where he has been working for the past decade. Juan has been awarded by the ACE & HOLA awards and by the Hispanic Magazine. He has also done numerous TV commercials, voiceovers and movies. He has had the opportunity of touring Europe, Mexico, and Russia. He was acclaimed by the Opera News for his virtuoso performance at Piazzola’s María de Buenos Aires.
